We all know that Google Chrome and Chromium have Adobe Flash built in. Which can become annoying as even pages that have Flash that are not being looked at are still using ram on your computer. You may only want to run flash when needed well in Chrome or Chromium there is a way to do this.
Simply type chrome://flags in the address bar
Then head down to the Click to Play experiment and click enable then restart your browser for this to take effect.
Now click on the wench icon in your Chrome or Chromium browser and head to options then Under the hood then to Content settings then to plug ins and then click on Click to play
And you are done, Flash will now only run when you tell it to. I learnt about this in the Life Plugged In podcast by Dave Moyer and Lamarr Wilson.
