Following up from my previous post on my intial impressions of iOS 5. Now I am going to talk about the problems I had trying to install iOS 5. The day when iOS 5 came out when I was trying to update. I had several failed downloads, that I eventually got it downloaded. although when I tried to install, I had errors such as when in the installing iPod software stage, it errored half way through, leaving me with a unusable iPod. After many trys and I do mean many. I gave up with iOS 5 and downloaded a copy of the previous iOS version which was iOS 4.3.5 which enabled me to have a usable iPod. I then tried to install iOS 5 a week later. The same problems occured, and going back to 4.3.5 failed, because it was marked as an unsupported build a week later. Then I decided to download iOS 5 through iTunes and do a restore and after a couple of trys it was installed. I then had to restore back everything to my iPod which was a lot of fun. Those are the problems I had.
